I fell in love with Scrapbooking about 7 years ago, after my son was born. I always loved to write and I always loved creating and I did both since I was a little girl. When I was little, before I could even write, I use to construct little books by folding pieces of paper together and stapling them, and on those pages I would draw pictures and I would narrorate the story I came up with to whoever would listen. As I got older, I wrote short stories, or more often half-finished stories, poetry, and journal entries. I still loved creating, I loved the visual effect of combining pictures and design elements with my words, but being that I was not much of a drawer, words were all I had and I settled on writing them in different color pens or in some kind of design. Then I discovered scrapbooking and found a way to bring all the stories, thoughts, and feelings I had hidden away in a journal somewhere to life, by combining them with my photos and beautiful paper and embellishments that added another layer of meaning and depth to my words. I was completely in love. And 7 years later, I am still just as madly in love with it, if not more so. I thought I would start this blog to share my love of scrapbooking, because it adds so much to my life, giving me a creative outlet to explore my own thoughts and feeling, as well as a more thought-provoking and gracious view on life because I am focusing on all the little moments and details of life that make life so worth living. Come visit daily, I hope to put up prompts for journaling, techniques to try, and my finished layouts for inspiration.
Live it * Love it * Scrap it
